Spaced Out Forum _ News _ Spaced Star's bloopers hung out for all to see

Spaced Star Simon Pegg will be appearing on TV Clip Show It'll be Alright on the Night on ITV tonight, reports BBC Ceefax.
The 17th show of the ubiquitous series is a Silver Jubilee Special, celebrating 25 years of It'll be Alright on the Night, the first show having been shown on ITV in 1977.
Denis Norden (right, today, and left in the original) has hosted and written the scripts for the show in all that time and whilst it has never been particularly original, witty or cutting edge, it is testament to the endearment of the show among viewers that is has survived this long; it has many imitators nowadays, but the show is an original, and, some might argue, a classic.
The show will be on ITV across the regions on Saturday, 14 September at 9.15pm.

I vaguely remember a very young looking Katy Carmichael appearing in a blooper with Mr Paul Merton, on a similar show a few months ago...

She was dressed as some sort of tart, and he was having difficulty with his cigarette. Or something.

Anyone shed any light on this?

[EDIT: I've just noticed http://www.spaced-out.org.uk/cgi-bin/ikon/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=3;t=769 on the subject in Castwatch. That's a far more appropriate place to discuss Watching Cast members on telly... wink.gif

If you have info in this Katy thing, there's the place for it. smile.gif ]
