Things I am enjoying:
'Getting On' Beautifully funny dialogue impeccably delivered 'The Chasers War on Everything' The only hidden camera show ever to not make me cringe Good old BBC Four I also like 'The Life and Times of Tim' on Virgin 1 and Psychoville is immense That is all. |

You Have Been Watching was particularly weak tonight. It was still watchable, but it seems like Charlie is struggling to maintain the energy of the first couple of shows. Seems like it is putting much more of a strain on him than Screenwipe/Newswipe ever did.

Less so the guy with the most expressive face in the world On the whole the sketches and studio stuff aren't the highest quality in the world, but nearly all the hidden camera stuff is genius. Not something I ever thought I'd find myself saying - perhaps I don't mind it because the Aussies seem so relaxed about everything. Even when they're getting fined for having a pretentious t-shirt. |

I find it's the absence of malice in the hidden camera sections that make me like them. Even ones like the taxi driver one from a few weeks ago, which do clearly rile the people the joke is being played on, are not done in a way that is necessarily confrontational.
