I bought the Star Wars Trilogy for when I go and see my girlfriend in a couple of weeks, and I'm annoyed that her set's better than mine (has both cuts of the films). At least mine has a nicer box...
Also bought seasons 1 and 2 of Deep Space Nine, because my pirated discs really are unwatchable. |

Damn you, Big Lots! Stop getting in interesting shipments! The rest of your stuff is chintzy crap -- Jeff Foxworthy beef jerky, anyone? -- but I keep coming back for the cheap DVDs.
This time they had a pallet full of obscure HBO documentaries and other assorted HBO Video releases. For $3 each, I took a chance on the Empire Falls miniseries, and series three of Cracker. The latter I'm particularly curious about; it looks good, but I've not seen it before. For three bucks, though... |
