Haven't played Fusion myself, but love Prime and Echoes on the GC.

if you complete fusion and prime (gba and gc respectively) you can hook the two up and access the original metroid.
you can also transfer data files, such as the fusion suit, from fusion to prime. hurrah!! in fusion (gba): the SA-X is an X virus that has mutated into a replica of Samus, but with all her skills and powers, whereas Samus herself hasn't got them all back yet, the CO is actually working against her but she doesn't know it.; thus she is effectively getting sent into traps to try and kill her. Mental but great story line. Eternal Darkness; Sanity's Requiem is real good on the gc too, and Tales of Symphonia (similar to Final Fantasy). As far as i can remmeber, most of the times that you confront the SA-X you just have to run like hell, you can't beat it til the end of the game. If you are at the end of the game then you just got to keep shooting and jumping. Thats the best i can remember, haven't played Fusion for ages
