I thought the Moriarty actors performance was bizarre. He didn't really come off as threatening for most of it, which is what I was expecting, but I guess the fact he wasn't makes the character even more interesting; tWas quite campy and psycho more than anything, which was interesting. Really enjoyed the episode though.

I liked it a lot. Ep 1 still best for sure, but tonight was great. The three eps did give the feel of a 4 and a half hours of pilot, so I look forward to see what they do with a full run.

Don't know what to say about Moriarty other than assume that they picked him up from a loony bin. Did like him though, very creepy, just not so scary and imposing. Not entirely what I expected.

At first when they only showed a little bit of his face, I thought he was the young inspector from last week.

I loved Moriarty. Suitably unhinged but I was sort of expecting a big name surprise, so I was a bit disappointed on that front, but was soon swayed.

The episode was fast, well linked and I really enjoyed it all.

The only problem I have now is that as with Jonathan Creek, I'm constantly looking for "the way", which in this episode was either the clues (very tricky) or who Moriarty was going to be (as predicted out loud while watching). I don't think this is a problem with the programme, more a problem with how I watch things (see also Inception for possible "it was alllllll a dream" constant).

Loved the series, can't wait for more.

We thoroughly enjoyed it after birthday tea, camp Irish Moriarty was a bit hit & miss though.

He'd never reveal himself - he's not some two bit criminal looking for attention.

Plus Irish 28 year old who poisoned a 15 year old from Brighton 20 years ago because he laughed at him and kept his shoes!! (Pah!)

Any of you guys remember what Irish accents made London folk think of 20 years ago?

Wouldn't be hard to trace and make no mistake.

He's a puppet the same way that those tied up in bombs are puppets.

And John's vest is filled with plastercine, not C4, so when shot proves Moriarty's overall knowledge of Holmes' actions.
