Wasn't there a period of regional Saturday morning telly?

Or did everyone get Gimme 5?

That had Jenny Powell on it, as well as Nobby the sheep and Matthew Davies (who currently appears on BBC Radio Cleveland).

And didn't Number 73 once have some kind of murder mystery plotline set in a seaside resort?

These memories are slowly coming back, it's like I've been out drinking, but over 10 years ago and I've only just started to pull the evening back together.....

yes - I remember Gimme 5, and I was in the London area so maybe that does or doesn't answer your regional question. But my cousin's up in Geordie-land also watched it, so I'd probably say it was nation-wide.

vaguely remember the existence of number 73, but can't remember any details.

On the subject of shows from yester-year, Challenge TV has to be the best thing on Cable/Sky. IT has so many classic quiz/game shows: Blockbusters, Family Fortunes, Bullseye (now that is fried gold!) Millionaire, Weakest Link (UK & USA), Knightmare (children's classic) and many, many more

I would NEVER leave out Knightmare

[quickly scrolls down the page to make sure it was included in the initial message, and breaths a sigh of relief when it is clearly there!]

Knightmare and Bullseye combined are worth the Sky fee!! And, yes, it is still on (or at least it was last weekend I think)

Definitely agree re the ads, if only to get that bloody crazyfrog off the tele!! wacko.gif
