There's an Easter Egg on the Hot Fuzz R2 DVD:
From the main menu on the first disc, put the target over 'Languages'. Press left three times and then right once. The target will then take you to the Hot Fuzz poster. Press enter and you will see an additional outtake. |

They're not going to put one of the best clips in as an easter egg considering most people aren't ever going to see it. I'd want to share the best ones with everyone!
But, I thought it was cute. This post has been edited by MyDogAteLA: Jun 20 2007, 01:09 AM |

Haha nice! Now don't go complaing, you wouldn't call it shit if it was with the other out takes would you? Besides, its not hard to get to either, if it took you 10 minutes to get to, then you can be pissy.

QUOTE (Automission @ Jun 29 2007, 12:56 PM) I dunno, the HF package a whole is so fab that I don't think even with a complicated egg that "pissy" could be justified. I do know where you're coming from, tho, some eggs do make you jump through hoops. ("Highlight 'Languages', then press up three times, then right twice, then enter the director's birthdate, then enter the number of chromosomes in an elephant, then hit 'rewind' and do the moonwalk, then...") |

No wonder I never find Easter Eggs on any of my DVDs!
I think the HF Easter Egg is cute. And that's all I expect from an Easter Egg is something cute. I wasn't looking for the treasure of the Sierra Madre. Maybe some people were. |

I'd never find Eggs if it wasn't for the website eeggs.com They have this HF egg there now, and you can rate it. It's at 6.5 out of 10 right now.

I'm quite fond of this egg myself. Apparently I had totally, and by "totally" I mean "by approximately 80%," underestimated just how much of the stunt Simon actually performed. (Mea culpa.) The egg gets a thumbs-up from me.

QUOTE (lynned @ Jul 2 2007, 01:36 PM) Apparently I had totally, and by "totally" I mean "by approximately 80%," underestimated just how much of the stunt Simon actually performed. An impressive amount of badassery on camera is in fact the Pegg. I seem to remember during the nursery footchase on one of the commentaries he says it's him then apologizes to the stunt double, which is funny. (And which for some odd reason reminded me of Chris Walken pointing out which shots aren't him on his "Weapon of Choice" commentary on the Spike Jonze Director's Label disc.
