Sad stuff. Obvious that it was probably an OD. Apparently he always reckoned it was his fault that Layne Staley died.

Nate Dogg

No say on cause of death, but sadly may have been another stroke.

Yeah looks to have been "complications from multiple strokes". Very sad.

Been with us through 3 different 'Batmen' and 4 movies.

Did Top secret and Hammer Horror stuff too - Shame to see him go but 95 or 95 isn't a bad run of it.

Shame! He delivered my favourite line ever in 'Top Secret!':

If they find out you've seen this, your life will be worth less than a truckload of dead rats in a tampon factory.

I'll always remember her as the voice of Maggie Simpson, because that is literally the only thing I've seen that she did.

Edit: (Having checked imdb) Oh, I have also seen her in The Flintstones and Giant. I will continue to think of her as the voice of Maggie Simpson.

A bit like Maian, The Simpsons is what I will think of her for. I've never held much affection for any of the films she was in. I was surprised to hear how much she'd earned for charity. That is a tremendous legacy.

The Royal Guild of Film Nerds have just called about your membership.

National Velvet. Jane Eyre. Ivanhoe. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Suddenly, Last Summer. Cleopatra. Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. Reflections in a Golden Eye. I Love Lucy episode with the diamond ring. I think you should see them.

My favourite story of Liz is how Richard Burton fell in love with her at first sight because she gave him a dirty look by the swimming pool at a Hollywood hotel. That must have been some look. I wish mental Hollywood stars were this fun instead of worrying about what they ate and adopting ethnic children.
