You're all doing it already, but just a reminder that anything faster than Sky One (UK TV) speed should be marked as a spoiler Thank you! Speaking of which, it starts on Friday at 9pm. Last night I watched the last episode of last season with Sarah who has only seen the first 1.5 seasons. Explaining who everyone was and what was going on was hilarious and it dawned on me how impossible it would be to come into the series now having missed the first 5. Sarah did have an interesting theory on why people are still watching. With every period of 8 episodes or so in which nothing happens or is revealed, an episode comes along in which something finally happens, be it the fact that a giant magnet causes the plane to crash, to Desmond travelling back in time, to Charlie dreaming about his deaths or the entire island moving around through space. As a viewer, we are so happy that something has finally happened that it really doesn't matter how completely ridiculous it is, we are just happy and accepting as its better than yet another episode in which we find out more about "Nikki and Paulo" or "Frogurt." Spending an evening explaining the increasingly ridiculous plot to someone with only the earliest knowledge of the show, it became really apparent that it has become a bit of a joke. I'm still hoping that this season is as amazing as it can potentially be. |

Juliet made me cry three times in two episodes. I hope parallel Juliet is OK.
Really good concept for the new series, and I can't wait to see how it develops. Also, I was right about Bad Locke. |

Also, Oceanic must have a fantastic in flight hairdresser... how else would you explain the drastically different haircuts after that bit of turbulence? I'm only confused as to how Jack's could grow an inch.

Liked it a fair bit, solid opening episodes.
Reckon stuff in the alternate reality is going to affect the island reality like jack helping Locke etc, Jack Saving Charlie's life on the plane = Charlie coming back on the island. I dunno, all I have is theories. |

That's the thing with alternate realities, underwater islands can result in different hair choices, changes in luck and the amount of vodka you're given. Don't know what they're going to do about Walt though. Maybe they filmed all his scenes for this series way back when. I'm worried about Hurley wearing a red shirt. |

No need to worry about spoiler tags for UK TV speed.
Not much I can add really, other than I found myself opened mouthed a couple of times and I may have gasped once. That's the sign of good TV. |

I done a naughty. Great openng episodes - this final season's storytelling 'formula' is great. Nice way to keep things fresh.
I still have no theories though. I like being kept baffled until each reveal. |

Ah okay, just did it in case some hadn't seen it, then whoever hasn't seen it probably wouldn't want to look at this thread.
Can see the 2 realities bleeding into eachother, though I don't know why I'm theorising, I can never guess what's going to happen next in Lost. Loving that there's evil Locke though. |

I presumed there was some crossover, because of Jack's unexplained neck wound on the plane - then again, maybe he just cut his neck.
Anyone who looks in the Lost Season 6 thread, who doesn't want to know what's happening in series 6 of Lost is foolhardy at best. That said, as we're a UK based forum we're very grateful to the American/download contingent for using spoiler tags until we catch up each week. |

Evil Locke is excellent - I'll warrant Terry O'Quinn had a blast playing that. He sure knows how to work some major league evil-eye.

I'm sad that real Locke appears to actually be dead. I like him.
