Oooh, there's a programme on PBS at the moment where Christian Bale and the director are being interviewed. And because it's PBS, it's an interesting and thoughtful interview without a sycophantic audience wildly laughing and cheering at every word.

Meh, he may have altered him from the comics but I think Tim Burton created an unparalleled brooding combination of character, mood, atmosphere and environment. Burton's Batman was a masterpiece, I hope Nolan lives up to it. I have faith.
