QUOTE (frostitute @ Jun 29 2008, 09:24 AM) Also, where is the circle jerk for Diablo 3! I figured there would be some clickity click fans here. DIABLO THREE CLICKITY CLICK Probably not going to be released until 2010, lol I'm not exactly blown away by the trailers currently available. I recall liking the game years ago, though I remember bugger all about it. |

A couple mini-reviews--
Alone in the Dark Garbage. Story is bad, ending is downright abysmal. Graphics are meh. Controls for shit. Just general ass. Shame Atari was banking on this, guess that's the last we see from them. Guitar Hero Aerosmith Better than Guitar Hero 3, finally, a game I can do on Expert and not get my balls kicked in on the second tier. Achievements are 10x better, and the difficulty achievements stack, FINALLY. No need to trudge through each difficulty. The timing of buttons has been tweaked too, it's now more GH2 and Rock Band level. The notecharts are more better, but they suffer from too many HO/POs. It's like entire songs dedicated to not strumming. Shame they had to finally get things sorted out on a game centered around Aerosmith. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 Does some things right, then completely blows it. Story is awful (yes, even worse than FFTAs already was). Battles take forever, the AI seems to take its sweet time selecting moves. Lack of clan wars in exchange for some stupid auction mini-game is dumb. I would recommend the first one over this. This is just tedious, even for fans of the genre. Etrian Odyssey 2 Sequel to one of my sleeper hits of 2007. Plays just like the original, with additions and tweaks. You can now save in the middle of a dungeon (soft save). Just overall better. GOTY right up there with The World Ends With You. If you like loot, grinding, and getting your ass kicked, get it. |

No thanks, I'll take accurate notecharts and general enjoyment instead.

Rock Band 2 announced for September release - coming to X360 first
Compatible with DLC from Rock Band 1, and any future DLC will work on both games Supposed to come with "upgraded" instruments too -- which probably means they stopped their old equipment from breaking after the first week |

The timing of buttons has been tweaked too, it's now more GH2 and Rock Band level. So if GH3 is so much harder than 2 then why is it that I can barely five star one or two songs on expert on GH2 yet on GH3 I've 5 starred or gold starred about 3 quarters of them? I would take GH3 any day over 2. The note charts are more complex but the game's generally more forgiving. This post has been edited by Nonus Aequilibrium: Jul 1 2008, 08:46 AM |

IGN's impression on the PS 3 2.40 Firmware update http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/885/885177p1.html
In game XMB, Custom music (finally) and a kickass Trophy/award system. Nice that the PS3 has finally sorted that crap out. |

They just need to get voice chat implemented, lmao. Almost there, Sony. Keep climbing.

Call of Duty 4 is still the best game on Xbox 360. The online multiplayer is worth the money alone.

Having built a brand new computer, I wanted to finally buy Bioshock at my local store. Turns out, no store where I live has it in stock right now. Now I'll have to order it online and wait for it to arrive.
