QUOTE (Stella MM @ Jan 24 2005, 11:09 AM) By 'they' do you mean A&J themselves or the evil, faceless TV execs that thwart comedy fans at every turn? I would never call Adam and Joe bastards (unless I was referring to them as sexy bastards). I mean they as in 'the man' or 'men' as the case may be. I'm sure Adam and Joe begged for all four series to get a full DVD release only to be thwarted by 'the man/men'. |

I was disappointed to find 'The Big Jabba House' was missing from the dvds too.
That was genius. Does anyone know if there are plans to release 'Adam and Joe Go Tokyo'? That was another great series. Oh and did anyone ever see 'Shock Video'? They even made a clip show funny. This post has been edited by Lazlo Woodbine: Jan 24 2005, 11:29 AM |

I have all of first 3 series on tape ... and the best i think is the 4mative years doc they did for Channel 4's anniversary. That has the Crystal Maze Star Wars one on it and still is the best "to win the crystal, complete the picture of Billy f*cking crystal!" ...

I borght the dvd a while ago. One of the best dvd's I own........ed
That dvd and my Look around you (another of my best dvd's) have been missing for a while now and I am really upset about it. I remember watching them sing the tetris song on the telly when I was about to go to a wedding. I was sad It wasnt on the dvd untill I found it on the audio clips. Great stuff! I loved it to pieces, got the DVD and loved that too.
I also have the Toy Movie Special recorded which has some of the movies that didn't make the DVD (e.g. Seven Dwarves, Star Wars Crystal Maze - "SHUT UP YOU BICKERING BASTARDS! EITHER WE WIN, OR I DESTROY YOU ALL! GET IT!" - ToyKids, Stuff This Life, etc.), and you should all definitely BUY THE BOOK! Not only does it serve as a reminder of series past, but it has lots of new material, and is perhaps the funniest thing ever published! I would love a Go Tokyo! DVD or a new series. I've got all the episodes recorded onto tape, but they're kind of scattered about different videos, which is a pain. And note the avatar of BaaaDad from the DVD... |

Recently I keep waking up with their 'Footie' song going round and round in my head. It's almost like torture, but luckily I quite like the song.

I've got all four series on video from when they were on the first time, but the DVD is pure value for money even so, the extras alone are worth double the price of the disk, IMHO
thoug i wasn't keen on the ken korda bits, it's nice to have them edited together instead of in small chunks, but they cut some of the best bits out, in particular, my personal favorite bit of the whole pop band doco, where Jell-E is kicked out of the band, and as he leaves ken yells at him "I want the jumpsuit back but you can keep the coke!!" |

I just love where Ken reckons that the only way to be understood in today`s world is to swear randomly. Hence going to a pub in Brixton, and ordering "A pint of cocking beer you cunt"
