The most ridiculous part of the Daily Mail's percieved surprise at the jokes and language used at the awards (Hello! It the British Comedy Awards, not the WI Cake Prize Handouts  ) is this bit...QUOTE The best-selling children's author shocked some of her young fans by swearing, saying of Fry: "He is the UK record holder for saying the word 'f***' during a live programme." As far as I'm aware the audience wasn't actually made up of 7 to 12 year olds dressed as witches and wizards expecting a jolly good clean bit of fun.
