Four player Metal Gear Solid coming to PSP.
Would have thought that this would have been better suited for the PSN but, hey... I have recently been downloading films from the XBL service. It's a decent enough system that works well. Just need to sort out the pricing/range of films. I urge people to try it. |

I can't say that I've ever been remotely tempted to download a film on the 360. The high price and one time viewing thing really puts me off. For the most part the cost of renting a film on that service is only one or two quid less than simply buying the dvds. That and seeing as HD doesn't really wow me, unless it's in a game, the whole shebang is useless to me.
Studio Ghibli are already collaborating with Level 5 on a DS RPG: Ninokuni. Nice trailer, albeit one without gameplay beyond knowing it's going to use the touch screen of the DS. I promise I'll shut up about it after this comment, seeing as no one else seems to have any memory of the game nor interest, but when I finished Grandia yesterday I was left thinking it was the kind of story that could have come straight out of a Miyazaki film. Started playing Halo 3: ODST earlier. *Snore*. Were you even the least bit surprised? I only ever used to play the multiplayer because you could have three guests, but now me and my bro play Left 4 Dead instead and have much more fun. On that note, roll on Left 4 Dead 2. Really looking forward to playing as the new infected and seeing how the new weapons change the pace of the game, especially the grenade launcher. |

No, not surprised. It's just that whenever it's been a while since I played a Halo game I start to forget how bad the series is. Then another one comes out and I think "maybe this one will be better", so I give it a go and it turns out to be just as rubbish. Still, having a low completion ratio annoys me and it gave me an achievement the instant I started the game, so now I can't wipe it off my games played record and I'll have to finish it. What a slog this is going to be. At least it was free. |

I'm a little distracted right now though because that Knights of the Old republic 2 mod I've been waiting for has finally arrived and is dominating my game time. |

I've gotten as far as I can be bothered to go on the Batman Challenges. Got all the medals on Silent Predator but the fighting challenges are so bloody infuriating that I just can't be bothered with them. It means that I'm missing out on 4 acheivements though (16/24 medals, 40+combo and perfect combo) but I really can't be arsed with them. Instead I downloaded Shadow Complex. So far so good.

The Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker demo is brilliant, anyone with a PSP who likes MGS should get it, they got rid of the awkward control schemefrom PO and have a brand new one. The jungle/woodland environments they've managed to render is impressive,as well as the general look of the whole thing

Orly? Which one and where from? It's by some guys at a site called Deadly Stream. It seems the original effort by Team Gizka has fallen apart thanks to its shitty forum and woefully rubbish team leader/only current member. This post has been edited by zeden: Sep 26 2009, 07:11 AM |

There aren't any as yet, it only came out a day or two ago. There are a few teaser videos that the team made though, including one from the HK droid factory that was cut.
In leiu of a social life, something I'm completely lacking right now, I think I'm going to get pissed and play Sith Lords all night. Happy days... This post has been edited by zeden: Sep 26 2009, 04:43 PM |

Yeah, the Brutal Legend demo is out over here in the US. I have a website link to download so you can burn to a DVD and play for PAL XBOX 360s if anyone's interested.
