Gnyaaaahaghggnnaagahaargghgrrgh! Why, after moving 6000 miles did I have to move to Brisbane! I'd love to go to the Melbourne Q&A, dammit, I know if I can stretch it I can afford to, but it would be for one day, and it's a couple of hundred dollars, andf I'd only come home depressed because I was too chicken shit to ask a question. Guh. I need to move to Melbourne, everything is telling me to move to Melbourne.

Melbourne is a nice place to live.
I have to admit that moving to Queensland is very tempting sometimes too though!
Only I think the humidity would kill me before very long up there.

Even Melbourne has been so humid this year. Is it global warming or what?
A lot of people have said it's because the drought is ending and the el nino cycle has finished. Mind you, we still can't get any decent rain - just horrible sticky humid weather.
And Level 4 water restrictions due to start soon. *sigh*

Ugh, don't get me started on the 'global warming' debate. This summer has been a killer though, it's supposed to be autmun but last night was 30 degrees with 90% humidity! 90%! I ask you!

It would be so cool to meet up with the lot of you, you guys have any idea of when, or would it just be at the Q&A?

Well, I tried ringing to find out more info, but there's still nothing confirmed yet. I'm going to ring them every day until they have an answer, dammit!

As for us all meeting up, I guess that hinges on the start time.

I'll be bringing my Canadian nephew & his mate, most likely. (Don't worry, they're 18!)    They liked SOTD, so at least there's a frame of reference for them. Hhhmmm. I might try showing them a bit of Spaced in the mean time. 

I'll have to try thinking of an intelligent question for the Q&A. It can be difficult, as I get a bit geeky & ga-ga in those situations. 

If one of you takes a laptop and the right technology, can I have a live broadcast?
