The only earphones I have atm are those cheap "stick in the ear" jobs that you get with free radios and stuff, and the just don't fit right.

I find myself trying to push them into my ears so they'll lodge there and I won't have to worry about them, and I can't put the speakers on cause my mum's in bed!

I actually prefer listening to music at home through headphones but my situation at the moment is très ennuyant

buy a decent pair of headphones that cover the ear. Apart from being more comfortable they'll sound better than the crap ones that are supplied with ALL personal stereos - no matter who makes them. You'll get better Stereo separation, better bass and treble and much greater clarity

Richer Sounds are doing a pair of Sennheiser PX100 for £29.99 (bargain)

if funds won't stretch to this then they are also doing a pair of AKG K44HPN for £19.99

Both of these headphones are probably of much higher quality than the product your going to plug them into....

...ahhh this reminds me of the glory days when I had 2600 posts here and people would come from far and wide to ask my advice on all things electrical....

I use a pair of in ear headphones for convenience sake when on the move - they're Sennheisers and the quality is really very good for such little things.

Nice signature quote, Andy

So, Philt/Andy - can you link me to a pair of really good in-ear bad-boys? I find them more covenient too, when at work, on the train, etc. Cheers.
