I couldn't find a thread relating to live comedy shows on the forum, so I thought I'd start one.
What live comedy shows are people going to see/ have seen recently? I'm going to see Noel Fielding on November 13th! I hope to see Gary Le Strange next week too. I would also like to see the 'Cuckoo comedy night', where the stars of 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest' perform stand-up and improvised sketches! |

Going to see Billy Connelly tomorrow night in London.
I hope he's good cos I've never seen him live before and I don't want my mum and dad to be disappointed as I bought them tickets for their anniversary! |

I've still got withdrawl symptoms from comedic fun in Edinburgh.
Comics that must be seen live: Rich Hall/Otis Lee Crenshaw Ross Noble Daniel Kitson Boothby Graffoe Jason Byrne Milton Jones If you get a chance to see any of these comedy gods, take it. |

I'm going to see Dylan Moran's Monster II at the Wyndham's Theatre in London on Friday 12th November. Plus, I need to get tickets for Bill Bailey's Part Troll. It starts on Monday, but runs onto December 4th, so I may just wait until I know what I'm up to in future...

I saw Dylan the other week at the Newcastle comedy festival - he was brilliant Watch out for the joke about the nuns - I nearly wet myself Plus he's very easy on the eye - yum |

Bill Bailey: Part Troll is great.
One of the best comedians I have seen in a long time, and the end song will be stuck with you for years to come . |

QUOTE (superfurryandy @ Oct 22 2004, 11:14 AM) I second these. I'm sure the others are fantastic, but I haven't seen them. I saw Ross Nobel at a conference and his "Day in the Life of Craig David" sketch is still the funniest thing I have ever heard. And if you can't get to see Rich Hall doing Otis Lee Crenshaw, I recommend the DVD - not as good a seeing him live but still an absolute belly laugh of a show. |

I gave up on live comedy after I was denied permission to see Bill Hicks at the Royal Exchange in Manchester. I was a mere 13 years of age and my mum wouldn't let me go because the show started at midnight. Then he died. I have yet to forgive anybody in the world for that.
