Ok right, does it matter what ISP you have and what speed connection it is?
Also do you need a hard drive? |

QUOTE (fatseff1234 @ Aug 1 2006, 10:50 PM) Ok right, does it matter what ISP you have and what speed connection it is? Also do you need a hard drive? I think pretty much any broadband you get will work, although the faster the better. I believe I have a 2Mb connection, but my router has moderate NAT and that slows em down a fair bit it seems. I still have no problems with lag or anything which is fantastico. As for the hard drive, I don't think you need one, you get a silver subscription with the core pack, but, you wouldn't be able to get any downloads or anything. So for Halo, you wouldn't be able to download the map packs and thus wouldn't be able to use the matchmaking feature. Get a hard drive, they're vital! |

As we're talking broadband, I'm considering dumping Pipex (which is quite expensive) and getting BT Total Broadband option 3 (also expensive). Then I get one of those home hub things and a voip phone and everything. Anyone had any experiences with the new BT braodband offers?

Sorry to interupt. I'm trying to make a decision. I'm about to buy a shiny new DS Lite and I'd like to know if anyone's got any opinions on which game I should buy? I'm choosing between Trauma Centre and New Super Mario Bros.
Thanks. |

I am trying to get a hard drive but I haven't been paid yet. And I have the slowest speed possible on this ISP, 256 mps. Also anything promoted by The Hoff is never too expensive.
And New Mario Bro's all the way. |

From what ive seen of Zeden playing and my friend playing id go with Mario Bros also. Trauna centre is fun in short spurts and it also starts to hurt your hand after a while and well, generally gets repetetive. marios bros...is frikkin Mario Bros. |

I second monkeyman there. Trauma Centre is hard to the point of being infuriating, where as Mario is Mario. Nuff said.

I think i'm going to go for Trauma Centre and get Mario for Christmas. I'm not in a Mario place right now. Thanks for all the advice though!

Almost at 10,000 gamer points now on my 360, Quake 4, Prey, Galaga, and Cloning Clyde have given me quite a boost recently.

Jebus! That's a lotta gamer points there.
I think I might just need a closer look at the intructions, but does anyone know a way of transferring one's gamer score from an offline profile to an online one on the 360? I set up my live account without thinking about my other profile and have ended up starting from scratch gamerscore wise, it would be nice to retrieve them, dispite their utter lack of value. |

Hmm, not sure if you can. Check the FAQs on xbox.com and maybe send an email to xbox support if there's nothing on there, but I doubt they'd allow you to do it since it could be exploited by lots of people combining profiles. |
