 After such memorable quotes as "I'm not gonna abandon England for something like, I don't know...Mission Impossible 3", Simon Pegg has signed up for a role in the latest Mission Impossible film. News is that he is playing a goodie but that's really all we know so far but it looks like it's going to be good. Spaced-Out will keep you informed as soon as we know more. |

 I'm excited and curious to see what this turns out to be like. I can't really imagine the Peggster uttering corny action-flick lines in a non-ironic way, but it'll be fun nonetheless!

I think Simon & Edgar could have a Cruise fixation.
I reckon they'll kill him off in no time. Perhaps something like this... The film opens with Cruise having just received his orders by way of a large Betamax video recorder. He's informed the tape will self destruct, so ejects and tosses it casually over his shoulder. Cut to Simon driving past in his convertible - top down, Burt Bacharach on the stereo. His happiness is somewhat halted by the sight of a video cassette flying through the air and landing on his lap. BOOOOOM!!! - Cue the music, cue the titles, cue Pegg's body parts flying off in all directions. Perhaps they can get Abrahams & Zucker to direct ? |

Hi, I'm a complete newbie here but I wanted to add that I'd rather SP contributed a certain flavour to the script as opposed to getting killed off too quickly! Let's hope they're not messing with the MI:2 formula too much though...?
