Out on the 28th of February, and if the new single, "Cigaro", is anything to go by, it's going to rock.
Any other SOAD fans out there, baited breath 'n' all? |

This is a definite for me, I'm a die hard System fan and I'm seeing them on June 15th at the SECC can't wait I'll be shredding up in the pit. Best songs are probably: P.L.U.C.K (Political Lying Unholy Cowardly Killers) (<surprised I remembered that) and mmmmm Inner Vision.

I used to really like SOAD, I've got their first album, gone off them since. I occasionally listen to it but I can't say I'm going to rush out for any more.

Their album's out on the 28th? I know that they're releasing two albums this year but i thought the first one was out in May. When's their second album of the year out?

I wouldn't say they're a novelty band, by any means... They just have fun with their music... what makes you say they're "novelty"?

I love all thei albums but i can't help but laugh every time i hear 'Toxicity' because a mate of mine described the bit at the end 'When i became the sun...' as being like morris dancing music, which now means that whenever we're all together and we hear it whilst drunk, we have to try and morris dance.
So far there have been 7 fatalities as a result of such larks. |

QUOTE (Nonus Aequilibrium @ Feb 25 2005, 05:33 PM) Yeah, they're kind of a novelty band, and the novelty has worn off now. They're ok to listen to in small doses. I wouldn't have described them as a novelty band really. I just haven't kept up with them. I heard a few songs after Toxicity but just never went out of my way to find out what they were up to. I think its bad for soad that most people only have heard the second album, which to me, is thier worst because its too "Mtv". I think once 9/11 and the patriot act and the war started, they got way more pissed off, and thier music is improving alot. Cigaro rocks, and i cant wait for these next two cds.
