My friend wanted to get Star Wars: TFU (PS2 version) last night, so we went to GameStop at midnight and waited there. I felt out of place. wacko.gif
I finally found myself a copy of Digital Devil Saga 2. Now all I have to do is beat the fist game.

Is it when you have your console on its side that it scratches discs?

My PS2 has always been upright, and I've wondered if I should really have it that way. It's never scratched anything, but it has refused to read discs a few times.

It's when you move it at all, apparently, which was the last thing I was thinking about when I got the RROD.

I've never had any trouble with my PS2 and it was second hand when I bought it 7 years ago, it's full of dust and I once beat a man to death with it. The last bit isn't true.

Finally completed that stupid Nirnroot mission on Oblivion! I guess it was kind of worth it to get the potions, but it was so tedious. Now I can set about doing one of my fourteen other active quests...

The trick is not to treat that one like a mission, but just collect the roots if/when you come across them, until you have enough. They like water.

Am I the only one who used to think the Ecco the Dolphin games were really creepy? They didn't scare me, but there was something very sinister about them somehow.

The music especially, listen to this. Still creeps me a little.

I know, but I have so many active quests that I wanted to get some out of the way. I might go and try that final Mage's guild quest again seeing as how I have some awesome armour and a funky shield now.

Very true, the dolphin alone used to scare me... possibly due to the fact that the water got darker the further you progressed.

Ecco... thankyou for the nightmares the fishy cu*t.

You're right. They probably don't like me direct linking. Try this one

I'd also like to point out how fucking hard Ecco is - I have it on the PSP Mega Drive collection and I still have trouble on it.

It's still such a beautiful game though, the way the oceans are drawn and the ambient style music a lot of the levels had. Really is a classic. One day I'm just going to sit and play it and just keep trying and finish them, because I've never beaten either of them.

Was there a "point" to the Ecco games? I never played them, but from what I saw, it seemed you just swam the mammal around and did some jumps out of the water every now and again.

Mammal c*nt.

The "point," as it were, was to inspire oceanic conservation, wasn't it?
