I think it's a bit of a cop out by the BBC to shorten it to 45 mins to accomodate other countries advert breaks....surely they should be more concerned with pacing..if it needs 1 hour give it an hour, don't let Fox/other commercial networks who cancel programs like this dictate the running length.....

Well it used to be 1/2 an hour so I think an extra 15 minutes is generous.

Just saw a clip of Doctor Who on the Jonathan Ross show and they showed Simon Peggs bit. He sound very evil.

WJD - Normally it is but cos the clocks go forward tonight it's not being shown again. It's the usual 'stick-a-film-on-while-we-lose-an-hour' thing.
Of all the bleedin' shows to not repeat! You'll just have to wait 7 weeks for the episode! Or you can be satisfied with Simon's voice on BBC3 straight after tonight's first episode, so we still get him tonight after all! It's repeated on BBC3 (check listings for times) but not on terrestrial. It's coming out on DVD in a couple of months, without extras, but will come out again towards christmas with loads of extra stuff.
