Annnnd... I just watched an interview someone posted on here in which Simon mentioned that Spaced is now on youtube. This is something I've been wanting to watch for two years. It's funny to see all the things that carried over to Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. I've already watched Episode 1-5 of season 1. And to top it off, I've got a copy of Danger 50,000 Volts being shipped to my house as we speak.
Hot Fuzz... discovering Spaced online... getting Danger 50,000 Volts.... this is a good month. |

QUOTE (Sostie @ May 4 2007, 01:22 AM) On the recent SONY II trip I saw both Hot Fuzz (again) and Grindhouse. Proof below. Now seeing that I saw the film again, travelled thousands of miles to do so and paid to see a Wright trailer, I fully expect said handjob to be accompanied with some light prostate massaging. I thank you in advance. I choked on my banana (no pun intended). |

Please buy the Spaced DVD. It's so easy and cheap to get region-free DVD players now or to get hack codes for your existing player or just play it on your computer. Stealing shows from the internet is WRONG. You'll make baby jesus cry. |

True. I'm investigating whether the computer I already have will play region free dvd's. My roommate's from South Africa and his computer plays S.A. dvds and we have the same computer... so I think I will.
I usually don't watch shows like that anyway. The only way I justified it was that Simon Pegg himself in the interview said "Spaced is on youtube now... and I don't think that's wrong cuz it's not robbing anyone." But yeah, I do plan on getting it. Thanks for the heads up though. By the way, I saw Hot Fuzz for the third time in the theater today. Each time I take new friends who haven't seen it, and they always come out cheering. And now I feel a little embarrased. I watched Spaced and laughed so hard that spit hit my laptop screen. I wiped it off only to have it happen again about ten minutes later. Dang. |

Hehehe Spaced-spit.
Ew. It's soo worth it to have the DVDs. The extras are great too. And "Skip to the End" is a must-have. |

Because Edgar asked so...nicely, I'm putting up my ticket stub here:
![]() Please excuse the inclusion of self, the pic was originally for the "ticket stub" challenge over at JTF. I've got two other stubs from the following weekend which appear to have wandered off at the moment... |

You know, AC, you could just load those up into virtually any basic image editor and flip them horizontally...

Yeah but that would involve me knowing about stuff.
And doing stuff. Plus it's funnier this way. Sarah through the looking glass. |

I see Hot Fuzz took $2.05M this weekend which brings it up to $16.1M so far in the US
Source: IMDB Well done lads! Incidentally, its sobering to think Spiderman 3 took $148M in its first weekend |

QUOTE (Dax Trajero @ May 7 2007, 04:39 PM) That'll help pay for the amount of CGI that's gone into it then! I saw an advert for Spiderman 3 on tv the other day and when watching it I couldn't tell if it was an advert for the computer game or for the film. Turns out it was for the film. Raimi's Spiderman is satisfying a demand in the market - and doing a nice job of it. Granted, it's not everyone's cuppa, but you can't argue with the figures. Like you say, it is amazing to think Spiderman's CGI budget alone was probably much bugger than the total cost of making the Fuzzz This post has been edited by Dax Trajero: May 7 2007, 09:02 PM |
