QUOTE (fear_of_pop @ Nov 25 2005, 03:14 PM) Oh, the Stotts.... Every time I hear the names Caprice or Paul McKenna I hear them said in the Stotts lovely little voices from when they were guests. Haunted by the Stotts. The fact that Vic & Bob themselves are always only about a millisecond away from corpsing during those sketches probably sums up just how ludicrously funny the Stotts are! |

Never really a fan of the Stotts.
'The Ponderers' used to be the name of a quiz team I was in. |

... Live from Switzerland?
I adore Smell of ... the songs are my favourite things and i can randomly burst into them without a moments notice. "hello we're a couple of girls ... and brass was used for coins in Roman Britain" "trapped in my flat" "footloose" "The big boys are in the butchers" (the bloke from Go West is genius) Also a big-up to the Windmills of your mind parody "throwing sparklers at the pope" and the theme tunes to covering everything from a mixed grill to Ice T's bobble hat. My favourite sketches include Barry White aka Mr Huff and Puff even though he isn't in a huff and he's not a puff (perfect pishtake of that 'Tonights the Night' video of Rod Stewart except his lass doesn't have a pineapple for a face), fog fog fog, British information service's vibrating sheep, Mulligan and O'Hare, Uncle Peter, "Tall man envys short man's tall wife" and - oh - just everthing. I need to watch again! Sefi x |

The songs are indeed great. Especially Foot Loose, love the owls.
Got to go and get Catterick soon. Shame about the complete lack of extras. Also got to track down series 2 of Randal and Hopkirk Deceased. I was gutted when that got cancelled. The best thing the BBC has ever put on prime time Saturday night. |

Who will take my monkeys to be baptised?
And other eggs-rolling-out-of-mouths shenanigans. And the Lloyd Grossman Master Chef sketch is still very, very scary. This post has been edited by fear_of_pop: Nov 25 2005, 04:09 PM |

Actually that's probably all wrong. I should watch it again immediately. |

"Hey you!"
"What?" "Is that make-up you're wearing?" "Yes, why?" "It's very nice. What shade is it?" "What's it got to do with you anyway, nosey parker? You're nothing but a spring onion!" "Yes, but that won't stop me ROCKIN'!" |
