I bought The Simpsons Season 6 and it was quite enjoyable. My favourite episode is 'Lisa's Wedding' which I never knew won an Emmy. I haven't found any Easter Eggs yet but I'm working on it.
Nice DVD menus, too. |

Woohoo. I bought Arrested Development Season 1. I tend to be lucky when it comes to buying stuff. It was expecting to pay $44.95 but it was on sale for $24.95. They didn't even have a sign out or anything...I'm currently halfway through watching that and the Hot Fuzz video blogs.

I mentioned Strangers With Candy in the other DVD thread. Claaaasick.
Reno 911! (first season) - it really has diminished a bit with each successive season, but that first one is fried gold. "Using the N word is never, ever okay, alright? Let's all try to remem..." "How about, I mean, what... what if...how about, if I say..."Who?...Which nigger took the last donut?" *beat* "That's wildly inappropriate." |

I'm working my way through Family Guy having recently bought on impulse, American Dad which was also pretty good.
For recommendations, I really do recommend Over There which follows a squad of recruits in the present Iraq War. It also focuses on the effect on the families back home and is quite well done. The guy who plays Sgt 'Scream' however looks a bit like Vin Diesel but in my honest opinion is more talented. |

I've now watched the first two series of Seinfeld and it is getting better, but only a bit. George and Kramer are definitely my faves. Georges line-
"I cant think of a situation where I'm ever going to have sex again" (or something to that extent) was great. Larry David's input is what makes me want to keep watching, in wait of one of his gems. The only problem with this is that I feel like watching Curb Your Enthusiasm instead most of the time. I'll keep going this week and watch season 3 but unless the quality picks up, or I can get the other series on the cheap, I'll be leaving this series there. |

Just got Red Dwarf series 2. I forgot there was a different Kryten! He's a bit sinister.

I loved the pre-Lewellyn Kryten, though! He's much less of a wimp!

I'm thinking it's time for Transformers G1. All 97 episodes. Plus extras. Might take a few weeks, but man, is it worth it.
