Primeval
Not a bad little adventure to series 5. Giant underground bug things getting blown up have been done before, so nothing new there. Though the story arc is getting better, and the truth about Matt's reason for turning up is becoming clearer, as are Phillip's intentions. One thing that really grabbed my attention though... "Did Danny tell them about Helen Cutter?" (or something to that effect). Intriguing. |

My friend forced me to watch an episode of Made In Chelsea last night. I'm sharing this as a form of therapy.

All Watched Over By Machines Of Loving Grace Well, that required concentration. Brilliant. In conclusion, global financial institutions and their accountants have been stitched up by China and the Far East following an earlier stitching up in the other direction. Made me wonder what would have happened had Greenspan followed his gut in the bath. My brother was telling me about that earlier this evening - I need to crank up iPlayer, methinks. |

Probably not a popular opinion, but I do like Fringe more than I do LOST. I did quite like LOST, all the way to the end, but love Fringe. I'd go as far to say it's probably the most enjoyable thing on TV at the moment. Walter Bishop is pretty much the best character on TV currently (in my opinion). Anna Torv gets better and better too, her Leonard Nimoy impression is brilliant. That episode was ace: Belly and Walter acting like the cloned love children of Stephen Hawking and Beavis & Butthead made me giggle. This post has been edited by bigfatrich: May 25 2011, 09:08 AM |

Watch the spoilers, peeps.
Though, is it ever going on terrestrial? Maybe it doesn't matter. I couldn't wait, I watched 19, 20 & 21 last night. Going to round out the series tonight - eeeep! |

I think I should rent Alias. I was well hooked on the first 3 or 4 series of Alias, but boy did it begin to get confusing. Never finished season 5. I got the lot if you want to borrow I couldn't wait, I watched 19, 20 & 21 last night. Going to round out the series tonight - eeeep! Ep 22 features a new addition to my Fringe menage a trois. |

Ah, sorry. I thought because it's been on a UK channel it was alright to post unspoilered. Can't edit my post now, aggh! Is the rest of the series still great then? I'm watching at Sky 1 pace, episode 19 tonight. |

I caught up with Sky One pace finally, but as it clashes with The Apprentice: You're Fired, that's a foregone conclusion in my house, so I'm being impatient and finishing it off at mega-quick speed
I honestly don't know the ettiquette with spoilers. I'd normally say UK terrestrial is the only time it's OK to reveal plot points, but I guess if Fringe was ever going to be shown on UK terrestrial it would have been picked up by now. That said, I didn't discover it till December, and would have been miffed if anything had been ruined for me in a general thread. I'm not sure that many people have got into it yet, and I wouldn't want to deny them the opportunity - as it is ACE. We could solve it all by starting a Fringe thread, and putting UK Sky One speed in the subtitle, but I'm not sure there's enough of us to warrant that! I was thinking last night, my only real criticism is it's a bit annoying how so many things come back to how special Olivia and Peter are. I kind of wish sometimes she was just a regular FBI agent. Then again, her abilities are so crucial to advancing the plot, and in terms of Peter, I do get the feeling they're ramping up to a mega-revelation in the finale... Something they've been hinting at since series one... I could of course be totally wrong! I'll reserve judgment till I've watched tonight. Eeeep! And, yes I would love to borrow Alias - thank you! On a related note, does anyone have Veronica Mars? I've been meaning to watch that for years. |

She looks a bit like she should be in Diagnosis Murder with that haircut She'd have to be adopted by or related to Dick van Dyke to be on that show. Olivia, Astrid, Faux-livia, Asperger's Astrid and Future Astrid - what more could a pervy geek want? Well, perhaps the addition of Nina - older woman AND a mechanical hand. |
