I hope this isn't against any forum rules, but using some mixing software on my computer I put together this mix for the drive out to NYC on Monday. Well, maybe I was working on it a bit before I found out about the Invasion stuff but I just finished. It's good timing I guess. Anyways, I'm happy with the way it came out and thought I'd share.
Warning - this stuff will make you want to dance. It comes outt to just shy of 80 minutes in length, so if you really like it you can burn it to fit on a CD. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DHCNQXD6 Track list - 1. Breakbot - Stereoprovolone 2. Mika - Lollipop (Yuksek Remix Extended) 3. Electric Six - Future is Future (Midnight Juggernauts Remix) 4. Justice - Genesis (Chewy Chocolate Cookies Remix) 5. GRUM - Go Back (Le Castle Vania Remix) 6. We Are Scientists - Chick Lit (Danger TV Remix Edit) 7. Timbaland - Miscommunication (The Bloody Beetroots Remix) 8. Justice - Phantom II (Boys Noize Unreleased Turbine Mix) 9. The Fashion - Like Knives (Tiger Baby Remix) 10. Sebastien Tellier - Divine (Danger Remix) 11. Van She - Cat and the Eye (Van She Tech Remix) 12. Boys Noize - Oh! (A-Trak Remix) 13. Anoraak - Nightdrive With You (GRUM's New Wave Remix) 14. Estelle - American Boy (ft. Kanye West) (LAZRtag Remix) 15. The Energies - Born Again Runner (Lifelike Remix) 16. VHS or BETA - Burn It All Down (Fred Falke Remix) 17. The Presets - Talk Like That (Miami Horror Remix) 18. Danger - 11h30 (Kurtech Remix) 19. PNAU - Embrace (ft. Ladyhawke) (Fred Falke & Miami Horror Remix) Although it's not '90s rave music, I think Tyres would approve. Enjoy! Only for the hardcore UK raver?
You all are probably sleeping. I'm still at work (late shift). |

I don't recognize any of those remixers and only a few artists but I will give this a listen, looks very random, which I like... and I like the idea of people throwing up mixes they've done...by all accounts it's not illegal as long as the tracks are mixed into each other a 'mix' is protected under the artistic lisencing laws (or something). posting individual mp3's is generally not allowed.
I'll try and give feedback later when Ive listened to it... |

yeah nice mix. not the sort of thing I normally listen to I like the energy of it though. the style of this stuff reminds me of house music, but minus the boredom factor...cool
what program did you make the mix on, out of interest? |
