Well obviously people liked it or they would not have been signed up for a second series. I love the original, but have never seen the "new" one, my friend loves it though. All I have to say is that at least it is not another bloody reality show...

Yeah, I had the same confused reaction. I think that it's good enough to stand on it's own, but it shouldn't be compared to the original.

The first ep was totally unconvincing and a bit poo, however, I have heard that it gets better so I shall reserve judgement.

You're right about the jelly. Gareth didn't trust the way it moved.
