Feel free to mention games I may have missed and also start discussions.
Note: Games based on U.S. release. |

Well it has to be Resident Evil 4 by a billion miles. About the only real decent thing to come out on the GC as most of the other games are avaliable on the PS2 or XBOX.
Mario Kart was fun for a bit, but the battle mode sucked donkey [Kong] cock. |

Resi 4 takes my vote. Bit of a duh for Best Gamecube game of last year.
The GameCube is one of those curious of this age. One of those things that has been made for children but has a huge appeal and following in the 20 somehting age group. Mario Kart is one of the best multiplayer games made ever, although the gamecube version is a mite scatty in it's level design when compared to the snes and 64 versions (Rainbow Road is bottom clenchingly ludicrous). Though I will take with me to the grave the image of 12 people pissed on cherry lambrini playing Donkey Konga. On a side note what is people prefered Double Dash combo? I always opt for Wario/Baby Mario for the mix of Big Bomb and Chomp on a Chain special weapons. |

Resident Evil 4 for me as well, although Lego Star Wars is pretty bloody brilliant as well, and Battalion Wars is quite good. Nowhere near as good as the Advance War games that spawned it, though.

Well, Resident Evil 4 isn't it?
I have also recently enjoyed playing Killer 7 as well - unusual and flawed but absorbing and bold. |

Ah, an under-rated console in it's death throes. It's a damn shame the G.C. didn't get more backing game wise. It's a great little machine. But it's going to end on a high with Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Cannot wait.
Resi 4 is the only real choice for 2005. |

Officially the most one-sided poll in Spaced-Out history. Nice.
I voted for Resident Evil 4 as well |

I voted Resident Evil 4 as well. I'm now even playing through the game on professional mode which isn't that hard so far, just takes a lot more bullets to kill everyone.
