Clyde asked the Doctor how many times he can change his face and he said something daft like 1,076, but the fans have just treated that as RTD having a bit of fun. So even though the Doctor said it himself, it's not cannon . . . apparently.

The whole regeneration limit thing came about over 35 years ago, and has been retconned and shown to have exceptions loads of times.
I wouldn't worry about him running out any time soon. To be honest, at this point the very idea of Doctor Who having a canon in any real sense is silly. I mean, how many times have the Daleks been totally wiped out forever? This post has been edited by GundamGuy_UK: Jun 3 2013, 07:42 PM |
