Tonight, I'm A Rock N' Roll Star..., Peggster guests on Coldplay's new single Options

Spaced star Simon Pegg guests on the forthcoming single The Scientist, by chart-toppers Coldplay.

Simon provides the backing vocals for the single's B-side 1.36, and is joined by Tim Wheeler of Ash, who provides guitar for the track.

Of course, this isn't Simon's first foray into the music world. He joined Coldplay on stage at the V2001 Festival to play harmonica on the song Don't Panic.

'The Scientist' is released on November 11.
