QUOTE (maian @ Jul 17 2006, 10:01 PM) Ah, I've been with them since before anyone knew their name. It's a lovely album, and I'm glad they're getting the recognition they deserve. QUOTE (Lazlo Woodbine @ Jul 19 2006, 12:58 AM) Every time you log off the forum, you're put in cryo-sleep. |

QUOTE (Lazlo Woodbine @ Jul 19 2006, 12:58 AM) It's not been too widely publicised and he doesn't want to make a big deal out of it; no single, no tour, very few interviews and he doesn't want people referring to it as a solo album. He's just being really difficult. It's a great album though. |

QUOTE (Hobbes @ Jul 19 2006, 07:00 AM) Ahh, that explains a lot. No wonder the days are going so fast and i'm not getting anything done... He's just being really difficult. It's a great album though. He surely shouldn't have 'Thom Yorke' on the cover if he didn't want it referred to as a solo album. He really should have thought that through... I'll have to pick a copy when i have some money. |

The Pipettes - We Are The Pipettes.
I don't know why, I've never heard a single thing by them before. Just seen a couple of pictures and a few people saying they were good. Fortunately, they were right. |

In My Mind - Pharrell Williams
My Majesty - Sean Na Na I'm sure Pharrell will entertain but I'm not too sure about Sean Na Na, Sean Tilman's (aka Har Mar Superstar) new band. It's a kind of light rock sound but I'm not too sure about whether I'll like it going by what I've heard but I'll take a chance seeing as i like his old stuff so much. |

^Apparently Pharrell's album is shockingly bad. If that duet with Stefani was anything to go by then I figure the reviews are probably right.

QUOTE (maian @ Jul 27 2006, 10:10 PM) ^Apparently Pharrell's album is shockingly bad. If that duet with Stefani was anything to go by then I figure the reviews are probably right. It was cheap and I'm in dire need of some new music to listen to, so I'll let it slide if it's rubbish. I really like NERD so I'm bound to find something to like about it. QUOTE (mcraigclark @ Jul 27 2006, 11:49 PM) That woman's voice is a little too much of a contrast to the booming German vocals isn't it. Te Quiero Puta! is a great song though, so that makes up for it in my book. This post has been edited by zeden: Jul 28 2006, 08:49 AM |
