I could never get into Homeworld 2. I don't know why.
I can remember this being tucked away in a directory on my Half-Life CD. I saw it, and lost my shit. It looked amazing. PC Zone were also looking forward to it, and when they reviewed it (it was on the cover image, I believe), I couldn't wait for the release date. If I can get it working I am going to play Diablo (the first one)
I played the demo back in 1996 but never got around to playing the full game. I thought I should catch up. Also been playing Alien vs Predator from last year (got it free) which is actually quite good fun. Playing as the Alien is always good for a laugh, especially with the excessively drawn out kill sequences you can trigger. |

I'm rather tempted to invest in a pre-owned copy of Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, but, must, save, money...

It's £9.99 new on Amazon, to help you gauge if it's worth the money pre-owned.
It's definitely worth owning. |

Played Dungeon Keeper 2 again for the first time in years. It's still great, graphics are pretty dated but the gameplay's still amazing. The series really needs a reboot, I'd buy it

I hope it's still around that price in June when I can finally buy new Xbox games. |

My local GameStation were selling it for £15. I've since spotted it new in HMV for the same price. So £9.99 new is indeed rather a steal. I may still opt for the slightly cheaper used option though, but not yet... I've kind of overdone things already as it is. I may have a shopaholic problem. |

The more I even think about Fable III, the more I realise that it is awful. I don't hate it, though. I probably should by now.
It's just a bad sign if I of all people can't get through it without making a mental list of all the ways in which it could be objectively improved. I mean, me. I know nothing. |

I've had that problem the last couple of months. I don't think I'm entirely over it yet as I can think of several things I still need (read: want). I'm definitely buying more DS games after Christmas. The more I even think about Fable III, the more I realise that it is awful. I don't hate it, though. I probably should by now. There is a heck of a lot wrong with that game (and Fable II for that matter) but I just can't stop myself from loving it. It's just a fun, easy game to play and I like all the daft little things in it. Like Jammy. |

I've noticed that the original Crysis has appeared on Xbox Games on Demand.
I remember there being quite a fuss made about this game when it came out (mostly people online complaining about how insanely high the required system spec was). Is it a good game? |

Yes. It's probably the most tactically flexible shooter I have ever played. Plus it's damn good fun and really, really pretty.

Due to being away for most of this week for work and having borrowed my mums netbook, I am going all retro and playing Baldur's Gate Trilogy (a mod that lets you play the first Baldur's Gate in the BG2 engine.
