Or you could just talk one of our US contingent to buy a copy and post it to you and pay them back...

I would volunteer for this if anyone overseas is desperate. I'm past the moral quandries now.

(Craig, if you want to join the non-Yanks on this, go for it. laugh.gif And don't say I don't love you, Red...)

Oh yeah. That's what I meant when I mentioned being extra nice to my US pals.

Wait.  So, is it only the HD copy that has all the exclusive extras? huh.gif
Because that's what I'm seeing looking at the different versions details on the Walmart website.
*

Not sure but apparently the HD version is still playable on regular DVD players.
Right?

Thanks Nic! I may have to take you up on this.
I'll check out what is actually on the Australian releases first though.

Nah, I'll get it myself. Thanks though. I'll also volunteer to pick up a copy for anyone overseas who'd like one. I'll do some kind of absolution dance to make up for it.

Me, too. I've already made my annual purchase there, this year, and begun the 364 days of atonement.

But I'll do it for the boys.

Well it says that one side of the dvd is HD, and the other side is standard. However, it also says that the only extras on the standard side are commentary and trailers, while the HD side has everything else.

Here's the 2 disc dvd that will be available at Walmart. The packaging of the two disc kind of sucks. They should have put it all in one box. huh.gif
I do like the picture that's on the second box, though.

Warning!!!! The "Hot Fuzz" bonus DVD that comes in the WAL-MART package is for the FULL-SCREEN VERSION of the film only. People with Wide-Screen TVs or who have preferences for Wide-Screen movies are SCREWED.

I posted this in the other DVD forum also.

Apparently there is a widescreen version available at WallMart (including all the extras) but it's just not all that easy to find.

Keep hunting folks!

Yeah, that sucks.

Some people just don't like having to deal with those "annoying black bars," though.
