A picture that Simon has chosen to entitle 'a day at the office':

A quick update.
I got in a surprisingly large amount of trouble for posting that picture so can people please not (if they saved it) forward it on any more so than it already has been. Thanks. Oh, and I have no personal connection to Simon Pegg... at all. I like Spaced and SotD, not the man (never met him, never will). |

I think my problem with the Mission: Impossible films is that they are more James Bond than Mission: Impossible, that and their being a "Look at Me!" vehicle for Tom Cruise.

QUOTE (Raven @ Dec 13 2005, 01:54 PM) I think my problem with the Mission: Impossible films is that they are more James Bond than Mission: Impossible, that and their being a "Look at Me!" vehicle for Tom Cruise. I would partially agree with you there. I thought that the opening 30 minutes of the first film "felt" like Mission Impossible. After that it went downhill... The turning of Jim Phelps and then meeting the "voice" on the tape I thought was wrong. The second movie was a typical John Woo movie and nothing more... Enjoyable brainless action movie, but didn't have the intelligence or intrigue to be Mission Impossible. |
