Old Gregg! Everyone's favourite. Although, he genuinely scared me the first (few) times I saw it.
Okay he still does. This post has been edited by fear_of_pop: Feb 28 2006, 12:57 PM |

"And this is a watercolour of Baileys as close to it as you can get before your eye gets wet."
Genius. |

I also saw the show last night. Absolutely great stuff, and as bizarre as I've seen. I especially like the fact that Fielding and Barratt choose to play almost all the characters, it adds further comedic ridiculousness. And y'know, the funk songs were sweet.
I have no idea how/when the gorilla appeared, but he sure looks awesome playing the drums. "We got the funk" indeed. |

QUOTE (Jessopjessopjessop @ Feb 28 2006, 05:43 PM) Well, I'm not as such, but I may have to invest in some goodness. Last night was only the second full episode I've seen. I saw the one with the Jungle Room from the first series a long while ago, and thought it was excellent. I just haven't had the oppurtunities to watch them. Though I did see the 'SLAP BASS!' character warming up for Razorlight last year, and he was fucking hilarious. This post has been edited by Hobbes: Feb 28 2006, 05:47 PM |

You were there? You lucky thing.
Although I heard that everyone in the audience hated him / didn't understand what in god's name was happening. |

I didn't know what the fuck was going on at the time, but it was still funny. He held up two placards, one with a monkey and one with Johnny Borell and asked: "Do you want to see Johnny, or an African male Silverback monkey?" I thought it was funny. When some guy shouted "get the fuck off", he just turned and went "no, I can't get the fuck off because the band's not ready to play yet, you stupid cunt". best comeback ever. QUOTE (whitey @ Feb 28 2006, 06:35 PM) They were fucking sweet, even if Borell's a knob. |
