I think that both Spaced and Doctor Who deserve higher spots but I'm glad to see Buffy made it high up!
 Yeah, while the bollocks gag isn't the best from the show it isn't the worst, I don't know if I'd say it was the funniest moment though.

I can always tell who really "gets" Spaced when I show them the bollocks bit. If they laugh and say something along the lines of "Haha right in the bollocks", I can tell they don't really get it. But if they laugh at the fact that Tim sees it fit to retort against the "bedsit" insult, as opposed to the "cheap porn", I know they really got what was going on there.
On that theory I'm guessing the list authors either don't really get it, or they're trying to appeal to the mainstream audience by saying "HEY LOOK THERE'S BOLLOCKS IN IT! Therefore you should watch it!" Think Simpsons Film Festival Episode, Man Getting Hit By Football by Hans Moleman. |
