i don't know if any of these have been said....because my head started to hurt after i read the first 5 pages of this but.........
When Tim Messenger's name gets pulled out of the raffle....the vicar(?) says 'Tim, your number's up' (or something along those lines)....and thats a 'expression' for death...... And i'm not sure if it's the vicar......but one of the NWA members is called Phillip Shooter........so it's like P. Shooter (pea shooter) hahahahaha! QUOTE (thirtyhelens @ Jun 25 2007, 05:38 AM) Edgar explained that in one of the interviews I read; they're all English craftsman names, meant to indicate pure bloodlines and a lack of ethnicity. Still funny that some of them have obvious "murderous" names. Skinner, Hatcher, Reaper, Shooter, Treacher... but then again, what do I know? Look at my post count, it's pathetic! EDIT: OOH! Just came up with a new one. Got reminded from crazeegems signature. The Andys suggest that farmers and farmers' mums are packing heat. And sure enough, who's backing up his farmer son at the beginning of Angel's rampage? OLD LADY REAPER! HAG! This post has been edited by Pilsk: Jun 29 2007, 11:45 PM |

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet (it is on the HF Wikipedia page) but there is a long running reference to the Scream trilogy, with the fact there is more than one killer, they all dress in identical black capes, lots of blood in killings, the reasons for killing are pointless etc.

I'm too lazy to read this whole thread, but I just watched Hot Fuzz for about the 7th or 8th time and I can't believe I missed the "Callahan Park" line spoken by Frank, which is of course a reference to:

In the scene at the Crown where Angel agrees to have a beer for the first time, during the conversation between him and Danny at the table you can see that Danny's glass is nearly empty while Angel's is completely untouched (probably literally too, since Danny carried it over for him). It's not until Danny does his "my eye!" gag that Angel finally picks it up and takes a sip.

Nice pick up there, lynned!
It's a very subtle thing, but says a lot about Angel. Feel the love. dolfyn. |

Anyone else notice fuck-ugly Pete (Aunty Jackie's sister's brother's boy) in the second episode of Torchwood?

Nope, but I noticed Karl Johnson playing the royal physician - or is he?? - in The Illusionist.
When they lifted the blanket on Jessica Biel's corpse, I desperately wanted him to go "Tiiiiits." |

I must have missed last week's episode. I have seen them all before though. Was it something about those big weasel face guys? |

QUOTE (AusChick @ Jul 3 2007, 04:15 PM) It was the ep with the gadget where they could see past events & feel what the people in those events were feeling. 2nd ep was the sex-hungry alien. It was nice to see "f*ck-ugly Pete" get some lines & show some range. Feel the love. dolfyn. This post has been edited by dolfyn: Jul 3 2007, 06:33 AM |
