I agree one of the best so far, tho I could not help but think how Kurt and Brian would have acted this week.

Still a pleasure to watch tho.

I missed the last couple, but saw most of last nights. It's still pretty crap, and this was brought home even more because I watched one of the episodes from the first series afterwards (episode 6 - the one where Susan has a bit of a breakdown). It's difficult to imagine these are both part of the same series - what's happened to the small dramas, the believable relationships and, especially, the dialogue? Bob incessantly saying 'fucking fuckety fuck fuck' does not a script make.

I missed it last night as I was out getting drunk.

Was the Christmas special one last night??

Was it any good??

Is it repeated??

It's been reported in the Sun Newspaper today that Teachers has been axed from Channel 4 after the last episode of the last series only pulled in 1.7 million viewers.

Oh well, all good things have to come to an end.

I wish they'd stopped after the third series, to be honest.

Or rather, all good things peter out slowly into an embarrassing and slightly offensive parody of what they used to be.

Oh, come on - what could be more entertaining and amusing than hearing Bob say "Fucking fucking fuckety fuck" for eight weeks?

Not hearing Bob say "Fucking fucking fuckety fuck" for eight weeks.

You knew I was going to say that, didn't you? It had to be done.

Oh i dunno.. it had its charms, this fourth series - i had a hazy feeling that it was building past the horrible feeling of let down that we all got at the begninning of the series and might well have got into its stride come the 5th series

i guess we shalln't (sorry stella, i know that's not right but I DID IT ANYWAY!! Mwah ha ha ha ha) ever know...

well I hope the guys who play ewan and ben are in something else soon as they were too lovely not to be on TV, even if their acting skills weren't that special.

But I'm not surprised it's being axed - I couldn't stop myself nodding off during the last three episodes.

I felt that too. that this series was a teachers crossroads, if you will, what with the loss of kurt and brian characters and the introduction of several new faces, and the next series would have been better and picked up its feet.

Ultimately, this series was not that bad at all, its still one of the best programmes on telly and theres no justice in it being axed.
