I never finished it. I've not played it in ages (I'll get the HD at some point), but I remember it being much harder than 2 and 3.
It's the same formula as all the games though; walk through areas, find weird gothic items, combine them or put them in a statue, get a key, unlock a few new areas, repeat. |

Code Veronica is pretty tough, especially towards the end. It's definitely worth getting though, especially with the new HD version being available (it's more of a port than a remake really though)
There is some truely terrible dialogue and voice acting in places though, even by RE standards. I've completed it a few times so can provide some tips if anyone does get stuck. |

There is some truely terrible dialogue and voice acting in places though, even by RE standards. Even worse than the original? I don't think there was a single good line in the entire game. It's part of the charm, I think. Zero, 1, REmake, 2, 3, Code: Veronica, Dead Aim. Those are the only Resident Evil games in my book. Possibly 4, if/when I ever properly play it. Not from the game as such, but it'll give you an idea (all LEGO promotional images of upcoming figures seem to be CGI, so it's not a game image):

Be interesting to see how they handle big battles. On a related note, having read a fair few comments sections on this image: It really really irritates me when people refer to LEGO as "Legos". Like, it makes me stupidly angry. It shouldn't, I have no idea why it does. Maybe because it sounds so dumb. I know it should always be written "LEGO", but it doesn't bother me to see it as "Lego". It's just that extra "s".......ugh. Yes I know I'm sad. |

I wonder if the Hobbit and Dwarf LEGO figures will have teeny tiny legs.

Hmm. That's a good point actually. Nate got a "Young Han Solo" mini figure with his LEGO Star Wars blu-ray and it doesn't fit on normal Lego.
I guess their legs'll be short but they'll have big feet |

Same here I wonder if the Hobbit and Dwarf LEGO figures will have teeny tiny legs. They'll have small legs, which exist as a part. They can't bend, but they fit the regular torso and have the same feet. Anakin, Ewoks, Spongebob etc. use them. |

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron debut trailer.
If it's as good as War for Cybertron, it'll be a treat. It's got combiners in, and Grimlock! |

Has anyone played The Darkness 2 demo? It's bloody good fun. Quad wielding is amazing: 2 guns, 2 demon arms. Definetely on my "to buy soon" list.
Edit: The new Transformers game looks great. War for Cybertron had a few little issues and if they've fixed them, this new one will be awwwwwesome. This post has been edited by monkeyman: Jan 26 2012, 09:58 AM |

War of the Roses
Sounds pretty interesting, like a polish version of Mount and Blade. |

Steam's come a long way from the annoying piece of shit you had to install in order to get Half-Life 2 to run. I remember people hated Steam, for ages. Now it's beloved by all.

Did anyone get on the Gotham City Imposters beta? The 360 one, specifically.
It's downloading for me right now. |
