I was glad Bob said Catterick was his favourite, because it's mine too. It made me chuckle to hear the narrator describe it as a 'comedy drama'.

It's the music. That & Bob's final outburst of laughter. True or false? If a bear has a cigar, he immediately becomes a tosspot. Name a famous Les.... True or False: Bill Cosby was the first ever black man. Many chuckles. I caught the repeat, and most of the docu - Vic's rendition of All By Myself 'in the club style' was still hilarious. I miss the Shooting Stars of yore. Happy days. |

Finally saw the specials tonight. I concur mightily with Ade.
I shall go back to constantly referring to Jarvis as "the weed in tweed" now. |

New series of Masterchef: Diane needs to realise that it's not the frickin X-Factor and toughen up; she sounds like she's on the verge of tears in every talking head piece she's done.
They seem to have toned down John and Greg's shouty int er act ions and the amount of time they have cutlery in their gob which are both good things. |

I liked Mitra, much less cocky than the big carpenter who looked like Tony Way. |

Do people actually follow masterchef? Like they do X Factor or something? I watch it if it's on, and I recognised the short fat winner when he was on Great British Menu, but I don't ever have the motivation to make sure I watch it.

Not having regular access to a tv with reception I didn't realise it was on til I caught it midway through the other night. I tend to stick with it because its much more truncated than X-factor, and seeing people muck up haute cuisine is less painful on the ears than when they muck up classic songs. |

Do people actually follow masterchef? Like they do X Factor or something? I don't 'follow' it, but I end up watching a lot of it, partly because it's shown in that dead period after I get in from work and before anything good comes on, or I do something productive. |

I watched it for the first time this series last night because Sarah was over. She does follow it, probably for the same reason as Adam. We were both rooting for fat Jamie Oliver without the fat tongue because the two girls were being all cry-ey and lame.
To be honest though none of them had anything interesting going on unlike last serie's finalist, the young experimenter girl who's name I can't remember. She was ace. |

She was annoying, I don't think there's been a series winner yet who wasn't an insufferable prat.
