Downloaded the Battlefield 1943 demo and couldn't get on the EA servers. May give it another go but I dunno if I can be bothered. Thats a shame.
Also, Viva Pinata glitched out and I had to start again. Dunno if I can be bothered. Also a shame. |

Old Grandma Hardcore rules. And trust me, though her title sounds like something you never ever want to see, this blog is frickin' hilarious.

Otherwise, I'll click on it, really like it, then forget about it for a month or two, then try to find it in google, and want to remove my eyes and bleach them. |

Started playing Devil May Cry 4 last night. It's amazing just how utterly lazy the Japanese developers are when it comes to communicating with the player sometimes. Start new game, choose difficulty, then it says "Automatic? On Off"... Automatic WHAT? Auto save? I just had to look it up now on the net to find out what it actually meant having played with it off last night having no clue what effect my choice actually had.

I HATE YOU EPIC!!!
God damn them. I was so close to getting all the achievements in GoW 2 and then they release a new fucking map pack and bump the achievements from 49 up to 79!!! *Grumble* I'm loving Resident Evil 5 at the moment. Yes it has no zombies (unless you find the hidden zombie in the porter loo) and the controls are a bit shoddy but it looks wonderful and is keeping me interested story wise. |

Been playing Mercenaries 2 that I bought off Jimmy the last couple of days, it's not the best rendered or executed game in the world, but boy is it fun. Blowing shit up never ceases to be a good central gaming concept.

I'm constantly playing Call of Duty: World at War (on his PS3) online at my friend's house trying unlock attachments and such for weapons. I realize that after playing with the Garand, I suck so much with it. I think I can kill about 2 people every game and I die about 10 times or more. Might try to level it up on hardcore since it should take less hits to kill people from a distance.
We also played through most of the songs on Guitar Hero: Smash Hits. I was finally able to beat Through the Fire and Flames and even though we did it as a band, I still felt a little accomplished for beating it. The intro is still insane even with the copper notes (or whatever they are). |

If by "good", you mean "mediocre at best", I'd be inclined to agree. Agreed Been playing Mercenaries 2 that I bought off Jimmy the last couple of days, it's not the best rendered or executed game in the world, but boy is it fun. Blowing shit up never ceases to be a good central gaming concept. Playing online with someone you know makes it a trillion times more fun, it is brilliant causing mayhem with a buddy, and laughing at the amusing way they fall out of destroyed vehicles etc Kei pointed out that the Modern Warfare 2 special edition comes with night vision goggles....I may have to get it. |

Agreed Kei pointed out that the Modern Warfare 2 special edition comes with night vision goggles....I may have to get it. Thirded. It's nothing special. And you do know that the version with the night vision goggles is £120? It's a lot of money for what will ultimately amount to a dust catcher. I was looking at it yesterday and wondering to myself just how many over privileged snotty little teens will be trying to perv on their neighbours after being bought that set. Quite a few I'd wager.
