Right bitches, its time to make a stand on this one!!!!!!!
If my brain is correct, TFTM (transformers movies) comes out over here on 27th July. Unless i/we can get advanced showing tickets, i think the following must happen, to show that people are fed up with having the same - mostly 80's - ideas and themes rehashed into piss-poor special FX wankathons. Rant over.. Now, I am going to do the following on the 27th - Push to front of queue and be first person (in Manchester) to see TFTM. Or at least be within first 2 showings - Watch the film and judge it with an open mind, taking into consideration that TFTM has had to be adapted to fit in with modern/younger demographic and the 'Armada' series If, that is IF, the film is bad.... 1) Go home and cry for a moment. I will grab some stuff and then 2) Stand outside the busiest movie theatre in town (either printworks or AMC) and picket the film, warning that anyone - especially over 20ish - not to watch the film. 3) Tell everyone how bad the film is (and hopefully not get arrested) Anyone in? Probably look better if there is more than just me , ranting down a megaphone. Still, im willing to do it on my own. Before you ask, i am serious and no, im not in the fanclub or some uber-geek. Im just sick of shit film remakes and feel that TFTM is the last straw. Yes, i have a social life and am a normal person, but i have to make a stand on this one. If you're up for it, drop us a line or post here...... PS IM SERIOUS ABOUT THIS!!!!!!! |

Maybe he's doing the rounds of a lot of different forums rallying support? There's Braveheart style movie to be made about a man who finally drew a line in the sand and said "no more remakes of 80's cartoon ideas". There'd be a montage of him making speeches at conventions with transparent images of message boards flickering over the top of them.
