'Buck Rogers' movie in the pipeline.

QUOTE
The studio will make a live-action movie, with Sin City director Frank Miller one of the names in line to take the helm.

That could be interesting, I can just see Twiki now . . .

Fuck you Buck!

That would be truly awsome. My mind is becoming a little boggled just thinking about it.

Probably played by Jessica Alba. rolleyes.gif

It is a very intriguing prospect though.

Considering how much he knows his comic book history I think Miller will stear clear of the 80's abomination and therfore no Twiki. Thank fuck.

I doubt he'd ignore th fact that Buck was one of the first ever comic serialisations in favour of the camp 80's incarnation.

That won't stop people moaning about it though.

And it'll probably only encourage that twat Lee Collins to make a reunion show for it.

This could be cool, but I'll wait until Miller's version of The Spirit gets released before I form any other opinions. Miller's still relatively untested as a director so I'm waiting to see how he does without Robert Rodriguez before pinning any hopes on his directing career.

As long as there's not a robot that makes that annoying "beedeebeedeebeedee" sound every time it's going to talk, then I'll be interested to see this movie. happy.gif

Pity Mel Blank isn't around anymore to do the voice, though. It was amusing seeing a robot that spoke with a deep gravelly voice like the Tazzie Devil. biggrin.gif

Feel the love.

Frank Miller not directing Buck Rogers.

I'm assuming this link is trustworthy. Wonder who will actually end up doing it?
