At the minute, my top ten is:
1) Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 2) Inception 3) Kick-Ass 4) Four Lions 5) Ondine 6) Shutter Island 7) The Lovely Bones 8) RED 9) Let Me In 10) Alice in Wonderland There are still three films I can think of that I want to see this year, so that might change (if I actually get to see them). |

7) The Lovely Bones That was 2009 according to IMDb. So far here's my top 10 in order of preference. 1. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World 2. Inception 3. Machete 4. Kick-Ass 5. Four Lions 6. Exit Through The Gift Shop 7. Predators 8. Alice In Wonderland 9. Shutter Island 10. Piranha 3D (in absence of having seen any other films released this year) Before the years up, I hope to add Black Swan, Tron Legacy and Rare Exports to this list. |

That was 2009 according to IMDb. Released late 2009 in America but early 2010 in the U.K. so it counts. The release date should relate to when it was released in the country you saw it in, not when it was first released. For example, the Japanese film Departures is a strong contender for my list, but that was released in 2008 in Japan. I'm going to wait a few weeks until I post mine since there are at least two films I'm seeing later this month (Catfish and The King's Speech) which I hope will be included. Plus there are a few 2010 releases which I'm hoping to see on DVD. This post has been edited by maian: Dec 5 2010, 01:24 AM |

It should win lots of Oscars. Sorkin for best screenplay or else there is no justice in this dirty world.

I don't think I've seen more than 3 films that were released this year. Sadface.

Jackass 3D will definitely make your list, surely Rach. It might well make mine.

It should win lots of Oscars. Sorkin for best screenplay or else there is no justice in this dirty world. I don't think there's any doubt. Original Screenplay is up for grabs, but there's no other film that can rival Sorkin's in the Adapted category. I went through the list of films I saw this year earlier and I think that I've narrowed it down to a Top 10. I might post it up later and adjust it as the last big releases come and go. |
