Though 1.2 is not my favourite episode, it contains one of my all-time favourite Spaced moments: the look on Brian's face when he opens the door expecting to see Father Christmas and finding only Tim.
Other highlights: Mike presenting Daisy with a land-mine; 'I can hear sex noise!'; 'Look at them - they're all so thin!'. |

The Father Christmas gag between Tim and Brian is classic. Brian face
 FAKE SEX NOISES! Also love the way that Daisy and Tim's dialogue bounces off each other in the scene when Tim is towering the mash potato: Tim - Where have you been? Daisy - Talking to Marsha. What's a Glock 17? Tim - It's a gun. You've been talking to Marsha for 4 hours? Daisy - Yeah. Did you know her husband once drummed for Status Quo? Who's bringing a gun to the party? Tim - Mike. Is that what you've been talking about for 4 hours? Daisy - Why's Mike bringing a gun to the party? Tim - Security. Do you think she suspects we're not a couple? Daisy - No. What do we need security for, we're not organising a rave.
