It's one of the Laws Of Soap: no-one can take drugs or start gambling without it becoming a major problem. The kind of problem that could be helped by calling the if you've been affected by any issues in today's programme number. |

I guess they couldn't have someone who was a bit of a stoner, but otherwise a well adjusted productive member of society as it would send out the message that drugs aren't a problem. Now I'm sure I've seen a Tv program where the characters did fit that description... What was it again..?

Teachers had them all regularly smoking weed and drinking with no ill consequences, well, nothing relating directly to the smoking and drinking anyway. From E4 First Look Well that was a fun wedding wasn't it? Followed by the worst Hollyoaks rape yet. I really really hope Nancy leaves him very quickly, because this relationship is getting more and more bizarre, everyone thinks it's wied, Nancy has her own doubts, and he tried to rape her on their wedding night.
