This has probably been asked before but I can't find the answer.
I've just bought the collecters edition of spaced and disc two has the normal artwork rather than matching disc one or two. I checked another copy in another branch and it was the same. Is this on purpose or have I got a dodgy copy? |

Hmmm. The artwork on my disc two matches the artwork on one and three, so this seems odd. However, I don't think the actual content of the collector's edition second disc is different from the original version, so you're not really missing out.

Mine is the same and I'm a little gutted about it. It just doesn't look right.
Who do I contact to sort this out (get a new disc 2) as it looks like they are all the same? thanks (and hello everyone!) tim |

Hi all,
Sorry to pester, but I just got my Definitive Set DVDs in the mail this morning, and when I opened it I noticed something odd. I have a "Disc One" and "Disc Three" with the cool funky sketch artwork, but where I expected a "Disc Two" with matching cool funky sketch artwork, I have the black "Complete Series Two" disc from the "Spaced 2" standalone DVD. So my question is: Is everyone's Definitive Set like this, or have I got a mutant copy? I'm kinda worried that I've gotten an older version of the second disc, and I'm missing out on something that is supposed to be in the Definitive Set. Any help would be much appreciated! Sincerely, Yatak. |

I suspect it's the shop mixing the discs up. If you complain they may send you the proper one instead.

Yes, this has happened before, so I'm merging this with the earlier thread. The second disc is not supposed to look like the standalone DVD, but as I understand it there's no difference between the contents of the old and new series two discs.

The second disc should look like Oisi-wan Kemansell's avatar.

Everybody just make sure not to buy these rip off discs. I had a buddy of mine get some of these off ebay and he was pissed. He did not want to leave a negative because I pointed out to him that they were dvd-r's after he had won thm, so beware of the fakes.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...mMakeTrack=true Read the 2nd to the last line of the description. I can't believe ebay just openly allows the selling of copied movies. Hell even the users name says it all! Mike This post has been edited by mikefromtexas: Oct 20 2005, 10:53 PM |
