My favourite gag in the Sideshow Cecil episode was one of the Frasier references-
"Guess who!" "Maris?!" I miss Frasier. |

Yeah, I can't imagine that this will genuinely lead to the show ending considering how profitable it still is for everyone involved. I do think that Fox have been pretty dickish in not giving them a cut of merchandising, though, considering how important the voice actors are to those characters.

Yeah, but the flip side of that is they are reportedly getting $2 million a year for what can only be a few weeks work.

In terms of what the show makes every year in DVD sales, merchandising and syndication that's not a huge amount. It's still one of Fox's better rated shows on the night it airs (it routinely outperforms Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show) so it isn't as if the show has become unprofitable.

I'm not saying the network isn't making a shed load of money out of it, its just that they aren't doing badly either (them, and the Scientologists).
