The "Yindie" is us. The Yindie is the follow-up to the Yuppie (Young Urban People). It is a cross-breed between "Yuppie" and "Indie" (Independent). So it is either an independent Yuppie or a Y(oung Urban People)-Indie... He drinks Chai Latte, has a W-Lan and an iPod and tries to be as independent and individuall as he can be. So he doesn't wear jeans by Gucci, but by Urban Outfitters, whose brand-name not everyone knows. The Yindie is between 20 and 35 years old and has a job. Are we Yindie?
